Group Sense PDA Limited (GSPDA), the flagship of its parent company Group Sense (International) Limited (GSL) for PDA business, was established in 2000 in Hong Kong.

Besides conventional PDA, GSPDA also produces converged products - PDA-phones and smartphones. In September 2001, GSPDA rolled out the world's first Chinese-based PDA-phone model e938 that features open OS architecture and full-range communication functions including voice, fax, e-mails, WAP and SMS. For non-phone type of products, embedded-Bluetooth is added to provide short-range connectivity with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. GSPDA is now selling products to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Middle East and France.

GSPDA has two main product lines. The Xplore series of PDAs are run under the English-Chinese dual language Xplore OS, and supports synchronization with personal computers. A software development kit (SDK) is available to interested parties who wish to develop customized applications to run on the Xplore series of PDAs. In the year 2001, the Company launches its Xplore series of PDAs that features wireless communication capabilities in addition to all the standard features of the Xplore series. i-Xplore 938 is the first PDA in this series that is an integrated GSM PDA and Xplore 968 is the enhanced version that features improvement in outlook design and user interface.

The Company has full product range to fulfill different price points in the marketplace. In response to the increasing demand for multimedia and wireless applications, GSPDA has launched Xplore G18, the smallest Palm OS smartphone, with colour screen, built-in digital camera, and GRPS class 10 module.

GSPDA has more than 200 engineers working in Hong Kong, mainland China and Singapore, and has marketing and sales networks covering Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asian countries.
